| | Posted: Thu Nov 24, 2016 12:37 pm Post subject: ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.6 | My hosting server is PHP 7.0 and when I encrypted a script and uploaded, it gave me error Please ask the provider of the script to provide a version encoded with the ionCube Encoder for PHP 5.6.
But in my software I see option for PHP 5.5 only. I just updated my software to PHP Encoder 8.3.
How can I solve this issue ? |

The PHP 5.6 Encoder is included only with the version 9 package so you would need to purchase an upgrade to version 9. Today would be a good day to do so as our Black Friday sale ends tonight!

I've got a wordpress theme that needs Ioncube Loader 4.4 to operate.
But I use a VPS server with PHP 5.6.4 installed which is not compatible with Ioncube Loader 4.4.
So If I install newer Ioncube Loader compatible with PHP 5.6.4, will that theme be decoded correctly and will be able to works correctly?

Yes, if you install a version 5 Loader for PHP 5.6 then that should run the encoded files correctly.
One possible problem, however, is if the files are encoded with a PHP 4 Encoder when you will get a message that they cannot run under PHP 5.6.
