Bible Jeopardy Game

Set Up
Draw a grid on a chalk board or poster board with six squares across and six squares down. At the top of each row write in the categories listed below. Number below each category 10, 20, 30, 40, 50. These are the points the players will gather for answering the questions. The first question in each category receives 10 points. The second question, 20 points. The third question 30 points, and so on.
CATEGORIES: HEROES * EASTER * BIBLE FACTS * NUMBERS * OLD TESTAMENT MEN * PLACES
How To Play
Divide class into two teams. Players select a captain for their team. The captain must answer for the whole team. However, all the players on a team must discuss the answer before the captain answers for them. Flip a coin to see which team will go first. 'Team One' chooses a category and how many points they will 'go for'. If they answer correctly, they receive the number of points for that question, and team two takes their turn. If they answer incorrectly, 'Team Two' may try to answer. If they are correct, they receive the points. 'Team Two' then takes their turn, even if they answered 'Team One's question after 'Team One' was unable to. Play continues back and forth until all the questions are answered.
Final Jeopardy
Some of the categories have six or seven questions. You may use these questions to play 'Final Jeopardy'. You might even allow the players to pick the Final Jeopardy category and to decide how many points they will play for. If they miss the answer to their question, they also lose the number of points they were 'playing for'.
